Medicine Hat Local Immigration Partnership

The Medicine Hat Local Immigration Partnership (MHLIP) is a collaborative community initiative dedicated to improving the integration and retention of newcomers. MHLIP seeks to engage stakeholders including employers, agencies, community, and immigrants themselves. We act as an incubator for ideas, measure trends, identify needs, and mobilize the appropriate community resources to meet those needs. Together, we can strengthen our community's ability to welcome settle, integrate, attract, and retain newcomers

The Medicine Hat Local Immigration Partnership:
- increases community participation in newcomer integration
- builds a community that attracts and retains newcomers
- conducts community-based research and planning
- celebrates newcomers & their contributions to our community
