UBC's Wild & Immersive

UBC's Wild & Immersive provides outdoor, nature based programs to children throughout Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and the lower mainland. We run 4 weekly Forest School programs for ages 3-18, day camps (Pro-D Day, Spring Break, Summer), field trips for youth groups (preschool- post-secondary) and special events.

Our programs are run out of the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest in Maple Ridge, and we take full advantage of our location with outdoor programs that are hands-on, interactive, educational and encourage a connection to the environment and the world around us.

Our mission is to create environmentally curious & passionate individuals through inspiring nature-based experiences. Our vision is to educate youth today, so that they grow up to become leading roles in the designing of their tomorrow, and having a positive impact on the future health of our planet by growing their relationships with nature.
