Volunteer Virtual Tutor

YouthInspirED Foundation is a Canadian registered charity, run entirely by youth under 30, dedicated to making education accessible to every student. We provide free, virtual, academic and English as an additional language tutoring to K-12 students. We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Volunteer Virtual Tutors to provide free one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions to K-12 students. Tutors choose the subjects they teach, the grade levels they support, and their own weekly availability. Recommended minimum commitment is approximately 1 hour per week. Subjects include Mathematics, Academic English, English as an additional language, Science, French, Social Studies, and other subjects based on demand. We welcome applications from high school students, college and university students, recent graduates, working professionals, and retired educators and professionals. Successful applicants should have strong knowledge of the subjects they wish to tutor, be reliable, patient, and enthusiastic, and have access to a reliable internet connection and a computer or tablet capable of video conferencing.
