Program Description: Youth One's newest program aimed at meeting the need for organized after school sports for students aged 11- 18. Program runs from 3-5pm Monday to Thursdays and features primarily basketball and Futsal (indoor soccer) as our main sports and is located just down the road from youth one main site at our gymnasium site.

Role description: Volunteers show up 10 mins before program to get thier role assignment and any announcements. The team will then preform the basic setup for the program, which is snack prep, and court preparation. Youth arrive around 3 and the team members engage them in a scrimmage. At 3:30 we run a pull together Family Time, and create teams and begin playing games. Volunteers then spend the rest of the program connecting with youth through the vehicle of sport.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
The team at youth one is consistently one of the best volunteer teams to work on. We place a very high value on team members being treated and coworkers in our mission to see youth reach their full potential. Because of this we give our team members a very high level of trust and put intentional effort into team building activities and events.
