Help is needed: Mask Sewing
People in your neighbourhood need your help.
Calling all teens! This is a great opportunity for teens to dip their toes into the waters of volunteer work. Teens are matched to a child from elementary school, where they meet weekly on zoom for 10-15 sessions. All sessions are supervised and facilitated by an agency caseworker. Teens connect with their "Little" by eating snacks, playing games, and doing crafts together. This is a great way to gain experience, help a child, and fill up those empty white spaces on your resume!
Each high school/elementary school runs one program each school year, so fill out your application ASAP to ensure you're not too late for your school's program. *We are currently recruiting for the spring sessions* All sessions take place on Zoom.
We are always happy to provide academic and employment-related reference letters. A great way to complete any required volunteer hours for graduation. Bigs in grade 12 who plan to attend post-secondary education can apply for the Ted Rogers Scholarship where $2,500 is awarded to the Big for up to four years.
