Friendly Visitor
Visiting with residents and engaging with them in conversation and activities to make their day a little more enjoyable. Additional activities may include reading, playing card/board games. Volunteers should have: -Working knowledge of the English language -Excellent people skills -Ability to work independently or with a support worker -Willingness and ability to take direction from staff -Sensitivity to the needs and challenges of the resident the volunteer is visiting
