Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration Foundation
Our team of volunteer health care professionals works with care professionals in lesser-resourced countries to help reduce the disparity and burden of cancer and other life-limiting illness
Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration is harnessing Canadian and International health care knowledge and leadership to assist health care professionals in lesser resourced countries in palliative care, end-of-life care and cancer control strategies. Together we are collaborating to overcome barriers such as lack of training, diagnostic services and treatment infrastructure.
Two Worlds Cancer has embraced the latest communications technologies to help further palliative care training, collaboration and mentorship in South Asia. The Project ECHO Pediatric Palliative Care Program – an innovative, bi-weekly online-education program – delivers palliative care training via video conferencing.
Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration focuses on three priority areas:
Palliative and end-of-life care
Child and adolescent cancer care
Population-based cancer control
Our volunteer team of doctors, nurses, social workers and other health care professionals is collaborating to increase care locally and enhance cancer care globally.
