About OKIFF
The Okanagan International Film Festival (OKIFF) is a new international film festival, industry forum, and co-production market launching in October 2026 across Kelowna, West Kelowna, Penticton, and Vernon, British Columbia.
OKIFF is designed to position the Okanagan region as a growing destination for international film production, creative collaboration, tourism, and cultural exchange. The festival combines four integrated pillars:

About the Role 
The Customer Volunteer (Guest Services & Problem Solving) plays an important frontline role in creating a welcoming, professional, and positive experience for festival attendees, guests, filmmakers, sponsors, and industry delegates.
Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, this position assists with audience support, information services, venue navigation, ticketing inquiries, and resolving guest concerns during festival activities.
The ideal candidate is friendly, approachable, adaptable, and enjoys helping people while remaining calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced event environment.


Responsibilities
-Welcome and assist festival attendees, filmmakers, guests, and industry participants.
-Provide accurate information regarding festival venues, schedules, screenings, events, and services.
-Help direct guests to screening locations, registration areas, and festival activities.
-Respond to attendee questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
-Assist with resolving customer service issues and unexpected situations efficiently and respectfully.
-Escalate complex concerns to supervisors when necessary.
-Support ticketing, registration, and guest check-in processes.
-Help maintain organized and accessible public spaces.
-Assist guests with accessibility needs and provide inclusive customer support.
-Support crowd flow management and venue operations as directed.
-Represent OKIFF positively and professionally at all times.
-Contribute to a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable festival experience for all participants.
