Support BC Lions games and festival in Kelowna
When the BC Lions play two regular season CFL games in Kelowna this summer, a team of volunteers will be required to support the games and the weeklong Touchdown Kelowna festival June 26 to July 4, a partnership between the City of Kelowna and the BC Lions, along with presenting sponsor Okanagan College. Up to 300 volunteers are needed in many areas of the games and festival to fill roles like hosts, ushers, ticket scanners, parking assistants, site crew, support staff, festival workers and more.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Volunteers will receive a volunteer recognition package that includes a choice of tickets to a BC Lions Game on Sept. 12 at BC Place or to the Boots on the Beach concert on July 3. Volunteers will also get exclusive access to a private BC Lions practice during Touchdown Kelowna, meet players, and receive a commemorative bucket hat and pin.
