The Book Wrangler of NITEO Africa Society is a dedicated and caring volunteer committed to furthering NITEO’s mission of supporting children and families to develop the literacy skills needed to build bright and hopeful futures. This is achieved through helping sort and pack books that will later be sent to children in Uganda. The Book Wrangler is responsible to the Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteers will be notified by email of shifts (typically Saturday mornings 9-11am or a weekday evening 5-7pm). Volunteers choose the shifts that fit their schedule.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Book wranglers have the opportunity to support children in Uganda through their volunteer service. Meet new people and enjoy time outside sorting through books! Treats are provided :) Volunteer references are provided after a minimum of 20 hours of volunteering.
