Volunteers working the front desk interact with visitors providing the information they need during their visit to the museum. The front desk work also entails taking donations for the museum, recording visitor numbers, answering phones, and assisting visitors with any inquiries they may have. Front desk volunteers are the face of Kelowna Museums and get first hand feedback from visitors.

There's a brief training session and there are other volunteering opportunities outside the front desk activities, specially around Remembrance Day.
