Tax Clinic Support Volunteer - Kelowna based

We are seeking dedicated individuals to volunteer in person as Tax Clinic Support Volunteers. As a Tax Clinic Support Volunteer, your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the intake of drop-off cases, screening and supporting clients in filling out tax forms, and organizing important documents. You will play a crucial role in our organization by helping to scan documents, allocate cases to other tax filing volunteers, print tax returns, and assemble packages for clients to pick up. No prior tax software expertise is required as we will provide training for this beginner-level position. This position will require you, at times, to meet participants in the downtown Kelowna office.

Key Responsibilities:
•	Greet and assist clients during drop-off appointments.
•	Help clients complete necessary tax forms and organize supporting documents.
•	Scan and catalog client documents for easy access and reference.
•	Distribute cases to other tax filing volunteers.
•	Print finalized tax returns for clients.
•	Assemble client packages for pick-up.

Commitment:
This volunteer position is needed from mid-February to the end of May. The Tax Clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with two shifts per day: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. We encourage volunteers to commit to one or more shifts per week, depending on their availability.

Requirement:
•	High school graduate or higher.
•	A minimum age of 19 years or older.
