Stylist & Boutique Associate Dress for Success Kelowna is seeking dedicated and compassionate volunteers to join our team as Stylists/ Boutique Associates . This role plays a key part in supporting women as they prepare to enter or re-enter the workforce with confidence and dignity. About the Role As a Stylist & Boutique Associate, you will work directly with clients to help them select appropriate workplace attire for interviews and employment. You will support a diverse range of women across varying body types, career paths, ages, and abilities, including those with learning disabilities. Your work will contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and empowering environment. Alongside styling appointments, volunteers will support boutique operations by sorting, organizing and stocking clothing donations, ensuring our boutique inventory reflects our clients’ needs. Key Responsibilities • Assist clients in selecting workplace-appropriate clothing tailored to their needs and goals • Provide inclusive, respectful, and individualized support • Maintain the boutique space, including general cleaning and organization • Sort and manage incoming clothing donations What We’re Looking For • Familiarity with inclusive practices and a respectful, client-centered approach • Interest in fashion and styling that will build confidence and encourage preparedness for the workplace • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently • A proactive, self-starting attitude • Commitment to supporting women in the Kelowna community • Ability to engage with empathy and sensitivity while supporting individuals experiencing barriers to employment Volunteer Requirements • Availability for scheduled shifts between 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, with flexibility on how often you would like to volunteer o Shift options: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM • Willingness to commit to a consistent schedule • Comfortable with completing a criminal record check If you are interested in this role, please apply directly through this link: https://portal.dfskelowna.org/v2/volunteer/intake or click "Apply Now" and follow through to the "proceed to application process" button.
