Cool Arts Society is looking for a friendly, reliable, and compassionate volunteer to support our Fiber Art class for adults living with intellectual disabilities.

This weekly class explores textile and fiber-based art through colour, texture, materials, patterns, layering, and mixed-media techniques. Artists will experiment with fabrics, yarns, fibers, and other materials in a supportive, creative, and playful studio environment.

As a volunteer, you will assist the art instructor and artists during the class, help prepare and organize materials, offer encouragement when needed, and contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and positive environment where everyone can express their creativity.

No sewing, sewing machine, fiber art, or previous artistic experience is required. What matters most is your ability to connect with people, be patient and encouraging, and enjoy being part of a creative community.
