Volunteer Art Class Assistant – Pottery (Ceramics)
Cool Arts Society is seeking a kind, reliable, and community-minded volunteer to support our Pottery (Ceramics) class, delivered in partnership with Kelowna Pottery - Studio 108, for adults living with intellectual disabilities. This weekly class introduces artists to clay-based practices, including hand-building techniques and creative exploration with ceramics, in a professional studio setting. As a volunteer, you will support both the instructor and the artists throughout the session, helping to ensure a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment. No pottery or ceramic experience is required. What matters most is your willingness to support others, your patience, and your ability to connect with people in a respectful and encouraging way. Schedule: 📅 Mondays 🕙 10:00 am – 11:30 am 📍 Kelowna Pottery Studio 108 Rotary Centre for the Arts, Kelowna
