Volunteer Art Class Assistant – Painting Class | Saturdays 14:00–16:00
Cool Arts Society is looking for a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic volunteer to support our Saturday Painting Class for adults living with intellectual disabilities. This weekly class offers artists the opportunity to explore painting in a supportive, inclusive, and creative environment. Participants are encouraged to express themselves freely, build confidence, and enjoy the process of creating art. As a volunteer, you will: - Support the instructor during the class - Assist participants one-on-one when needed - Help create a calm, encouraging, and welcoming atmosphere - Contribute to a positive and inclusive studio experience No artistic experience is required. What truly matters is your openness, patience, and ability to connect with people. Commitment This role requires a regular commitment every Saturday afternoon from March 30 to June 20, 2026 (inclusive). Consistency is very important, as it helps build trust and meaningful relationships with our participants. This is a meaningful opportunity to be part of a caring community, build relationships, and make a real difference through art. Schedule 📅 Saturdays (March 30 – June 20, 2026) 🕑 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm 📍 Rotary Centre for the Arts, Kelowna
