Volunteer Art Class Assistant – Fiber Art (Textile Creation)
Cool Arts Society is looking for a warm, reliable, and compassionate volunteer to support our Fiber Art (Textile Creation) class for adults living with intellectual disabilities. This weekly class focuses on exploring textile-based art practices such as fabric, yarn, fibers, textures, and mixed materials in a supportive, creative, and inclusive environment. As a volunteer, you will assist the instructor and artists during the session, help create a calm and encouraging atmosphere, and support participants as they explore their creativity. No artistic experience is required. What truly matters is your ability to connect with people, offer patience and kindness, and be present as part of a caring community. Schedule: 📅 Thursdays 🕙 10:00 am – 11:30 am 📍 Rotary Centre for the Arts, Kelowna
