Youth Worker for Active Play Program

We’re looking for a dedicated Assistant to help support and supervise youth ages grades 2- 6n a welcoming outdoor program environment. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to work with children as they build community, explore nature, and develop social-emotional skills. If you enjoy working with children, being outdoors, and making a positive impact. This program will be running in the months Sept, Nov on Tuesday and Thursdays from 2:15pm- 4:15pm ( at Black Mountain Elementary or Watson Road Elementary) or Monday and Wednesday  from 2:15pm- 4:15pm ( Glenmore Elementary)

Volunteers and assistants in this role can build and strengthen a range of valuable skills, including communication and relationship-building with children and families, organization and time management, and confidence in planning and supporting activities.
