Presenter Break Area Concierge

Do you love making conversation? Would you like to meet Canada's best children's book authors and illustrators? We are looking for outgoing, friendly, service-oriented volunteers to pick up VIP meals and deliver them to the Presenter Break Area. Volunteers will also ensure that refreshments are restocked regularly in the Presenter Break Area. Volunteers might be asked to assist presenters, respond to their questions, relay messages to staff, etc. Volunteers that apply will be asked to show proof of previous customer service experience. 

This role relies on the ability to move in and around the VIP tent, on uneven, grassy areas.

Join us at the 18th Annual Telling Tales Festival, Canada's largest book festival for children, at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, Ontario on October 3 & 4!
