Open Streets Hamilton - Activation Hub Helpers

On Sunday, June 7 King Street East will transform into a 3.6 km car-free community space — and we need your help to bring it to life! Activation Hub Helpers – help with setup, greeting participants, collecting surveys, and keeping the energy high.

Mandatory Training: There will be a mandatory training session on Wednesday June 3 in the evening - more details to come.

Shifts:
All-Day [8 AM - 4:30 PM]: Sign set up, vendor support, attendee engagement, tear-down
Morning (8 AM – 12:30 PM): Sign setup, vendor support, welcoming committee, surveys
Afternoon (12 PM – 4:30 PM): Surveys, participant engagement, sign collection, event wrap-up

About Open Streets:
Join us again as we transform King Street East into a temporary urban linear park of fun, stretching from John Street to Gage Avenue. Open Streets is about enjoying the street itself! 

Discover open areas for recreation, spontaneous play, and connection — the street is yours to play. Visit activation hubs and local businesses along the route for live entertainment, family-friendly activities, community booths, and more.
