Land Owner Management Relations

The Landowner Relations Director is responsible for maintaining good relations with landowners and responsible for maintaining the Toronto Club’s landowner inventory.

This is the day-to-day relationship building with local landowners both on and adjacent to the Toronto Section of the Bruce Trail and any existing ‘handshake agreements’. They also handle landowner related matters, dogs, hikers, use of trail, parking, etc. As part of our board succession plan – our current director wants to share this role with other TBTC Member Volunteers. We are also looking to help with delivery of calendars each year to current landowners as part of relationship management.

We are seeking one or two ambassadors to train with and shadow the current director. They will also participate in the Land Management Committee. The current director would be happy to train one or two people for this role.

Candidates must have access to a vehicle  to access the Bruce Trail and in person meetings from Milton, Georgetown and into Caledon.
