Coldest Night of the Year (Georgetown)
GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS! Links2Care and Georgetown Bread Basket will be teaming up again to run the Coldest Night of the Year Fundraiser here in Georgetown - which will take place on Saturday February 28th, 2026! This event is a family-friendly walk, in support of local charities serving people who experience hurt, hunger and homelessness on a day-to-day basis. Money that is raised during this event will be split between Georgetown Bread Basket and Links2Care in order to continue serving the community and those in need of our services. We need volunteers to help assist with this wonderful event! Many volunteer opportunities are available, including: - Welcome - Greeters - Welcome Cheerleaders - Route Marshals - Rest Stop Hosts - and more! Additional Details & Skills Required
- Volunteers should feel comfortable talking to and engaging with other community members - Event will be held outside (for the most part). Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather - Event information will be provided to volunteers prior to event. Training will be provided on day of event
