WayWesX17 an Xavier Brown Foundation dba The WayWesX17 Homeless Project (WWX17)
WayWesX17 an Xavier Brown Foundation dba The WayWesX17 Homeless Project (WWX17) is a Texas‑rooted, globally engaged 501(c)(3) nonprofit and internationally recognized NGO transforming grief into strategy and memory into motion. We are a grief‑informed, justice‑rooted movement committed to dismantling systemic barriers and redesigning care through our BluePrint: Justice, Love, Legacy.
In 2025, WWX17 served 5,255 individuals, supported 165 families through Wesley’s Diaper Pantry, delivered 460 hours of virtual SitFitness wellness programming, distributed 15,100 pairs of socks, and mobilized 86 volunteers and 8 MSW interns who contributed 2,112 hours of service. Our programs include Mobile Winter Blast, Student Donation Give‑Aways, SitFitness, dignity‑centered essentials distribution, and narrative‑shifting advocacy.
Volunteers are the heart of our movement. Whether supporting research, outreach, systems‑building, or global visibility work, volunteers help us break barriers, bridge gaps, and build futures rooted in dignity and justice. WWX17 welcomes volunteers across Canada who want to be part of a justice‑rooted, legacy‑anchored movement for systemic change.
