Social Media Graphic Designer

3-5 hours / weekly

About Us
We are a registered charity, proudly serving the Fort St. John (North BC) area for over 40 years. Our mission is to empower no-income and low-income individuals and families by addressing critical needs - whether it’s supporting those recovering from domestic abuse, navigating the legal system, providing food security, or offering access to transitional housing. 

We are seeking a talented graphic designer to join our charity as a remote volunteer. Your creative contributions will help amplify our message and engage our community through compelling visual content.

Role Description
As our Social Media Graphic Designer volunteer, you'll create eye-catching visuals primarily for our social media channels. Your designs will help us raise awareness, engage supporters, and advance our mission.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design engaging graphics for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Create consistent, on-brand visual content for our campaigns
- Develop infographics to communicate our impact and key messages
- Work with our team to understand content needs and design accordingly
- Adapt existing designs for different platforms and purposes

Occasional Projects
- Design email newsletter templates
- Create simple flyers or digital posters for events
- Develop visual assets for our website
- Design presentation materials

Tools & Resources
- Access to our Canva Premium subscription
- Brand guidelines and visual identity materials
