Event Volunteer -- WINGS Mother's Day Tea
🌸 Join Us for a Heartwarming Cause in Stony Plain! 🌸 WINGS is excited to be hosting our 30th Annual Mother’s Day Tea, and we’re looking for amazing volunteers to help make it all happen! If you enjoy being part of meaningful events, meeting great people, and lending a hand for a good cause, we’d love to have you on our team. Whether you’re a pro at setting up, love the hustle and bustle of event day, or prefer helping with the final wrap-up, there’s a volunteer role for you! Check out the opportunities below and let us know where you’d like to help out: 🌸 >> Friday, May 9th : Day Before Event <<🌸 💐 Set-Up Crew Volunteers – Time: 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM -- Lend a hand as we prepare for the big event! Join us the day before to help load tea ware and supplies into vehicles, transport everything to the venue in Stony Plain, and assist with setting up the tables for a beautiful tea-themed celebration. 🌸>> Saturday May 10th: Event Day << 🌸 💐 Tea Service & Kitchen Support Volunteers –Time: 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM. -- Be part of the magic! Assist with plating food, preparing teapots, serving tea, clearing tables, and supporting light kitchen tasks. 💐 Clean-Up Crew Volunteers – Time: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM -- Help us wrap things up smoothly! Volunteers will wash dishes, pack up tea ware, organize supplies, and help load everything up. If you're able, you can also assist with bringing items back to WINGS. A few quick notes: 🔹 Volunteers must be 16+ years old 🔹 Volunteers will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the venue in Stony Plain 🔹Tea Service & Kitchen Support Volunteers will need to dress business casual, as they will be helping with serving tea to the event guests. WINGS provides safe, stable housing and comprehensive wraparound services to help them rebuild their lives.
