Whyte Avenue Art Walk

Whyte Avenue Art Walk is an outdoor studio and gallery featuring hundreds of working artists. For three days, every July since 1995, artists and their art enliven the sidewalks of Old Strathcona. The festival hosts more than 400 artists, spanning eight city blocks on either side of Whyte Avenue, as well as select side street closures.

The festival provides artists with a venue to show and sell their art, and engage with patrons in a way that is rarely possible. Patrons are presented with a unique occasion to watch art being created, and learn about the artist's process.
