Recruiting Volunteer Grant Writers

WECAN Food Basket Society of Alberta is recruiting volunteers for fundraising and grantwriting activities! WECAN provides opportunities for members to purchase affordable and healthy food baskets which are picked up monthly at volunteer run community depots throughout Edmonton and surrounding communities. WECAN is a registered charity and relies on fundraising activities and grants to fund its operational expenses. If you have skills in grant writing and/or sponsorships, please reach out to boardchair@wecanfood.com to express your interest. Volunteer commitment is anticipated to take about five hours per month.
