Young Minds Eye (YME) is a not‑for‑profit organisation dedicated to providing free educational support to students who face barriers accessing learning resources. We began as a student group, Help Young Minds, at the University of Alberta and have since grown into a national organisation serving youth across Canada. At YME, we believe in teamwork, compassion, and community impact. Our volunteers work together to strengthen each program and ensure that every student receives meaningful, accessible support. Come be part of a team that is making a real difference. 🌐 Website: http://www.youngmindseye.com/ The role responsibilities entail: => Oversee day‑to‑day operations for the Talk Buddies and Tutoring programs. => Lead weekly meetings with program executives to review progress and set priorities. => Provide direction on program facilitation and ensure alignment with program goals. => Recruit, onboard, and train new program executives. => Collaboratively develop strategic plans with the leadership team to balance volunteer and tutor capacity. => Proactively identify operational gaps and troubleshoot issues before they impact program delivery. => Step in to support sessions when needed, maintaining program continuity. => Serve as a liaison with other chairs to promote the programs and coordinate outreach efforts. => Document work progress, decisions, and operational updates to maintain clarity and support long‑term program sustainability.
