The mission of the McDougall House Association is to provide total abstinence-based residential support and to empower women in recovery from addictions through knowledge, awareness, and behavioral change in order that they might choose to live healthy, productive and happy lives.

McDougall House is an accredited addiction treatment facility in Edmonton that supports women with substance dependency. For over 50 years, the counsellors at McDougall House have helped thousands of women struggling with substance misuse (alcohol and drugs) to find their way from hopelessness to hope. Based in Edmonton, McDougall House welcomes women from across Alberta. Many of the women in our care receive social assistance and have no place to go having lost connection to family, friends, and their support network. These women are battling not only for their future but also looking towards having a positive impact and a better life for themselves, their children, their families, and our communities.
