APPLE Schools is governed by a Board of Directors responsible for strategic planning and setting the overall direction for the organization, along with financial and risk oversight. Board directors attend meetings quarterly (virtually or in-person). Our board is seeking individuals passionate about healthy children and youth. Our goal is to create a high functioning and diverse board that is representative of the communities we serve. We are looking to fill our board’s knowledge in the areas of: - Human Resources - Fund Development - Government Relations - Communications - Financial Management Ideal candidates understand board governance and demonstrate a commitment to the work of APPLE Schools. If you are seeking a unique volunteer experience in a supportive and dynamic atmosphere where your efforts will make a difference in underserved school communities across Canada, please submit your resume to info@appleschoosl.ca by June 30, 2024.
