Photographer and Videographer

2-20 hours / monthly
Year long term. Renews in October.
Position Title: Volunteer Photographer and Videographer
Reports To: Communications Director

Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Volunteer Photographer and Videographer to help capture the essence of our community league. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about photography and videography who want to build their portfolio, connect with the community, and contribute their skills to showcase the league’s events and initiatives.
This is a volunteer position with an estimated time commitment of 4–8 hours per month. Volunteers must have their own photography/videography equipment and editing tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Event Coverage: Attend community league events to photograph and film key moments, ensuring high-quality content that highlights the event’s atmosphere and participation.
Board Member Headshots: Take professional headshots of board members for use in league publications and the website.
Community Features: Document gardens in bloom, neighborhood highlights, and other community features for newsletters and other publications.
Publication Contributions: Provide photos and videos for the community league newsletter and Rat Creek Press.
Editing: Edit photos and videos as needed to ensure a polished and professional result.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Communications Director to align with the league’s branding and content needs.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 4–8 hours per month, depending on events and projects.
Flexible scheduling to accommodate school or work commitments.

Qualifications:
Passion for photography and videography.
Must own reliable photography and/or videography equipment and editing software/tools.
Ability to capture dynamic and engaging content.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Reliability and commitment to fulfilling monthly time requirements.
Ideal for high school or university students looking to expand their portfolio and gain experience.
