Bicycle Repair Technician
The Sport Central Bik Shop distributes over 3000 bikes to kids, annually. Our Bike shop has volunteer opportunities year round for any skill level. *Training will be provided for all positions* -Applicants with no previous bike experience must be available for 3+ hours per shift. The Sport Central Bike Shop Hours: Monday: 9am - 5pm Tuesday: 9am - 5:00 pm (5:30 - 8:30 pm Tuesday Night Bike Crew) Wednesday: 9am - 5pm Thursday: 9am - 5pm Friday: 9am - 5pm Saturday: 9am - 4pm Bicycle Pre-Service: -Straighten valve stems, -inflate tires -turn handlebars -lube seat-posts -strip non-functional accessories -wash and label bikes prior to repair Bicycle Parts Salvage: -Strip and stock high valued parts, dispose of residuals. Bicycle Repair: -Repair -test ride, and label pre-serviced bikes in accordance with serviceability standards.
