Our History:
2018 - SpeechDojo traces its roots to two virtual pilot programs teaching public speaking internationally to classrooms in Nigeria and Pakistan.
2020 - Debut of our current Classroom program at Queen Alexandra Elementary School, in Edmonton.
2021 - SpeechDojo attains its official status as a CRA-registered non-profit organization
2022 - Creation of the SpeechDojo Online team
2023 - SpeechDojo Classroom is officially Alberta-wide! Some of the communities we’re teaching include Edmonton, Calgary, Peace River, Grande Prairie, Leduc, and many other rural districts!
2024 - SpeechDojo sets up booths at both the Endless Skies and NCTCA Teachers’ Conventions
Today - Our team of over 70 members has taught over 100 classes and 2400 students in districts across Alberta, reached over 6.3 million students through our social media platforms, developed three complete modular online courses, presented at two Teachers’ Conventions, and so much more!
