The France Pavilion at the Edmonton Heritage Festival is looking for volunteers for the last week of July and the first Weekend of August! We highly encourage anyone to come and help out to: make crêpes (French pancakes), practice your French, meet Francophone people, listen to French songs, and have fun together! No French is required, simply wanting to help out and gain a new volunteering experience is all that matters! Additionally, students who are enrolled into Canadian post-secondary schools have a chance to earn scholarships via a lucky draw system where ballots are earned by completing volunteer hours. This year, Société France-Edmonton will be giving $100 to the top post-secondary students who have volunteered the most amount of time with us. You can register directly via this website: https://pavilionfrancehf.wixsite.com/pavilion-france
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Volunteers will utilize interpersonal skills, problem solving, and practice cooking (if they choose to do so). Post-secondary student volunteers can enter into a scholarship draw by the Edmonton Heritage Festival Association, and can win $100 from the SFE. Shifts are very flexible! Please just communicate with us :)
