As we prepare for launch and continue growing our community, we’re looking for passionate individuals who want to gain hands-on startup experience, make a meaningful impact, and help shape something from the ground up.

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Community & Social Media Volunteer to help build awareness for Simpler and connect with local businesses and communities.


This role is ideal for someone interested in marketing, communications, community engagement, startups, or business development who wants practical experience working alongside a founding team.

You’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of projects, and see the direct impact of your work as we grow.

Time Commitment: Approximately 5–10 hours per week (Flexible)

What You’ll Be Doing

Create and schedule engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
Help grow Simpler’s online community and brand presence.
Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages where appropriate.
Research community events, networking opportunities, and local business groups.
Support outreach efforts to introduce businesses to the Simpler platform.
Help recruit and engage vendors interested in joining our growing marketplace.
Share creative ideas for campaigns, promotions, and community initiatives.
Gather feedback from businesses to help improve our platform and customer experience.

Social media content creation

As Simpler Spec grows, outstanding volunteers will be considered for future paid contract or employment opportunities as they become available.
