Recreation Volunteer - Kensington (Edmonton)

Shepherd’s Care Foundation is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization providing quality care and accommodations to more than 900 seniors throughout Edmonton.

Recreation Therapy Volunteers help enrich the resident’s lives by providing conversation and companionship and/or enabling the resident to participate in desired activities. This is an excellent opportunity to interact with residents and help create a meaningful difference. Volunteers will assist staff in the delivery of activities and programs as required and help porter (safely assist transporting residents in wheelchairs)  to and from their programming.
