Volunteers at SMPF support our mission to improve the lives of pets and their families through community programs, education, and compassionate care. Volunteers help with events, social media, outreach, and day-to-day activities that keep our foundation running smoothly.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with organizing community events, workshops, and fundraisers.
Support social media efforts by creating, posting, or sharing content that promotes SMPF programs.
Help with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, or preparing materials for events and programs.
Provide support for pet welfare initiatives, including distributing pet supplies or assisting in educational programs.
Engage with community members, answer basic questions, and promote awareness of SMPF’s mission.
Collaborate with staff and other volunteers to ensure smooth operation of activities.

Skills & Qualities:

Compassion for animals and commitment to SMPF’s mission.
Friendly and professional communication skills.
Reliability and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills (helpful but not required).
Flexibility and willingness to help with a variety of tasks.
