The Program and Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and promoting programs that engage the community and support the SMPF mission. This role serves as a key liaison between the organization and the public, building relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders to enhance program participation and impact. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and manage community programs and initiatives aligned with organizational goals. • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, schools, and local leaders. • Promote programs and events through outreach, social media, and public engagement efforts. • Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for programs and events. • Track program participation, outcomes, and impact; prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders. • Assist in grant applications, fundraising efforts, and partnership development. • Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and networking opportunities. Qualifications: • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • Experience in community outreach, program coordination, or nonprofit work. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency with digital tools and social media for outreach and engagement. • Passion for community engagement and the organization’s mission.
