Program and Community Outreach Coordinator

The Program and Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and promoting programs that engage the community and support the SMPF mission. This role serves as a key liaison between the organization and the public, building relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders to enhance program participation and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
•	Develop, implement, and manage community programs and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
•	Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, schools, and local leaders.
•	Promote programs and events through outreach, social media, and public engagement efforts.
•	Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for programs and events.
•	Track program participation, outcomes, and impact; prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders.
•	Assist in grant applications, fundraising efforts, and partnership development.
•	Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
•	Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
•	Experience in community outreach, program coordination, or nonprofit work.
•	Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•	Proficiency with digital tools and social media for outreach and engagement.
