Call for Volunteers - Stony Plain Road Business Association’s Music In the Park

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS- Led by YEG Ambassadors in partnership with REACH Edmonton and the Stony Plain Road Business Association (SPRBA) .

We are looking for enthusiastic and community-minded volunteers to help support our summer series, Music in the Park, running from June to August!

Music in the Park is hosted by the Stony Plain Road Business Association (SPRBA) and returns this summer with live music, community connection, and good vibes. The events will take place on Wednesday evenings from 5 PM to 7 PM between June 25 and August 13 at Butler Memorial Park.

Who Can Volunteer?
Everyone is welcome! Whether you are a student, retiree, community builder, or just want to give back and enjoy great music, we would love to have you on the team. 

Volunteer Qualifications:
To volunteer for Music in the Park, you must:

Be 18 years of age or older

Be reliable and able to attend your chosen shifts

Have a Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check 

Have some experience with community initiatives or a strong interest in supporting local events

Volunteer Roles May Include:

Helping with event set-up and take-down

Greeting guests and creating a welcoming space

Supporting performers and assisting with transitions

Handing out giveaways or information

Being an extra set of hands wherever needed

Counting attendees

Just south of Stony Plain Road and 157th Street
Next to the Jasper Place Transit Centre
