PolicyWise for Children & Families

PolicyWise for Children & Families is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing practices and policies that promote well-being. Known for our commitment to broad and inclusive engagement, we foster collaborations with a wide array of partners, including Indigenous communities, academia, non-profit organizations, and all levels of government. Together, we create a world where children, youth, families, and communities thrive.
Our team possesses a wealth of in-depth knowledge, skills, and experience spanning the social-serving sector. We are not just familiar with mental health and well-being, child and youth services, data capacity building, equitable employment, and crisis response and recovery—we are experts. Our expertise and leadership in these areas provide our collaborators and partners confidence and reassurance in our capabilities.
Since 2003, we have been a trusted advisor and leader in well-being, actively participating in social policy strategies and provincial and national councils and committees. Our legacy and influence continue to grow, inspiring and motivating us to pursue new opportunities across Canada and around the world.

Mission
To inform, identify, and promote effective social policy and practice to improve the well-being of children, youth, families, and communities.
We meet people where they are. We work with clients to clearly define the issues that they need to address, or opportunities they want to seize. Together, we ensure high quality evidence that informs wise decisions.
Vision
Children, youth, and families thrive in respectful, safe, and supportive environments shaped by wise decisions.
