PALS is partnering with the Starlight Casino for TWO days of FUNdraising! To make this event possible, we need volunteers for all sorts of positions and all sorts of hours; from running chips to cashiering to management roles; morning, noon, and night. Dates: Sunday, September 6th & Monday, September 7th Time: All hours Location: Starlight Casino (West Edmonton Mall) This is an important event for our organization, as the funds will be used for purchasing essential supplies for our learners and helping us further our goal of supporting our community through adult education. Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Volunteers are given the opportunity to network and engage in a high-energy, fun environment with flexible schedules (especially for night-owls!) and the ability to try out a new role or put their current skills to the test. They will also be given several breaks throughout their shifts and during this time, high-quality meals and snacks will be made to order from local restaurants donating their food for the event.
