Financial Literacy Tutor
Ongoing
Do you enjoy problem-solving and helping others build practical life skills? You don’t need to be a financial expert! Mentor an adult learner in financial literacy and support them in gaining confidence with managing money, making informed decisions, and reaching their goals. From budgeting and saving to understanding credit, debt, and everyday financial choices, learners develop the knowledge and skills needed for daily life, employment, and long-term financial wellbeing. If you are interested in supporting an adult learner in improving their financial literacy skills and live in the Edmonton area, we would love to hear from you. Please note that we require proof of vaccination for in-person meetings. Training and support are provided. PALS – Project Adult Literacy Society is looking for adult volunteers who are willing to tutor another adult either in person or via video chat for around 2 hours a week. Training, support, and learning materials are provided.
