2026 Norwood Casino Fundraiser
On Thursday, February 12 and Friday, February 13, Norwood will be having a Casino fundraiser at Pure Casino Yellowhead. This fundraiser has a huge impact for Norwood, typically bringing in $80,000 - $90,000 over two days! Volunteering for ONE casino shift would be equivalent to volunteering for 160-180 bottle drives at $500 each, OR volunteering to sell 20,000+ boxes of chocolates at $4.00 each. Are you are ready to support Norwood by volunteering for a Casino shift or two? Maybe you and some friends want to volunteer together on the same shift? This opportunity is easy and the atmosphere is fun! You will practice the following transferable skills: communication, teamwork, problem solving, time management, attention to detail, documentation, cash/chip handling. All positions are easy and include training and an advisor's support. A meal and snacks/drinks are also provided.
