Employment is a vital part of the settlement journey for newcomers. It provides financial stability, builds confidence, and helps individuals regain a sense of purpose and identity, especially for those who were professionals in their home countries. It also offers opportunities for newcomers to build social connections, improve language skills, and pursue careers they enjoy—all of which are essential for long-term integration.
