Mile Zero Dance Society

Mile Zero Dance is an arts non-profit charitable organization based in Edmonton Alberta since 1985. MZD is devoted to the creation, presentation, and production of all types of contemporary dance, and we also have a complete school residency program to involve young people in dancemaking. We support local artists at different stages of their careers, and we also present artists from across Canada and the globe. Every two years we host a dance film festival, and we are always looking for new ways to engage audiences and foster creativity in our communities.
We just moved to a new warehouse space venue in Ritchie in August 2022, and we are building it to become a Dance Hub!
