The Opportunity:
We’re looking for Companion and Recreation Helpers to volunteer at our Lifestyle Options Communities. In this role, you will provide companionship and support residents as they participate in recreational and therapeutic activities that enhance their daily lives. 

What you’ll do:
- Assist staff in delivering recreation programs and activities, including arts and crafts, music, fitness classes, and games.
- Provide one-on-one companionship through friendly conversations, shared hobbies, and social activities.
- Safely escort residents to and from activity areas, walks, outings, and community events.
- Help set up and clean activity spaces, including arranging materials and distributing supplies.

Qualifications:
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check (required).
- Experience coordinating activities for seniors, including those with dementia (preferred).
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.
- High emotional intelligence and professionalism when interacting with residents and families.
