Justice4 Reel Film Festival
JUSTICE FOR REEL FILM FESTIVAL: JHC will host Justice4Reel a curated, public film and arts festival scheduled for June 26–28, 2026, at the ArtsHub Ortona in Edmonton (9722 102 Street NW). Designed to bridge the gap between abstract human rights and our lived local realities in the heart of Alberta, this three-day journey fosters reflection, shared dialogue, and coordinated civic action. The venue is wheelchair accessible, has gender neutral washrooms, has free parking on site, and is a 10-15 minute walk to nearby bus routes and LRT stations. Volunteers are mostly needing to support as Greeters and Concession Monitors. Volunteers will be welcome to enjoy the snacks on site and attend the film screenings free of charge.

Volunteers are asked to sign a Code of Conduct and Oath of Confidentiality; photography/videography may also occur at the event so please let us know if you are not comfortable being on camera.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Volunteers can stay and attend the films and enjoy free snacks and drinks from the Concession. Volunteers may request a reference letter from John Humphrey Centre for recognition of their volunteer hours.
