GDX Conference Volunteer

IAA is hosting the Game Discovery Exhibition (GDX) Conference from October 23-25. We are looking for various volunteers including but not limited to the following: - Planning Volunteers: Attending regularly scheduled meetings to discuss all aspects of GDX conference and exhibition planning. - Conference Content Committees: Helping to determine what content shows up at the GDX conference, doing outreach to potential speakers/panelists, and helping to develop the bios and questions. - Marketing Outreach: Helping to boost the signal for GDX 2025 via social media, our website, Discords, and any other push channels that exist. - Street Team: Shouting the word about GDX amongst your own networks, across the city, and more. This could include postering, handing out handbills, etc. - Logistics: Any general task that can help prepare for GDX. This could include putting together nametags and lanyards, getting something photocopied, or helping us to move things. - Pre-Event Transportation: If you have a large vehicle that can help us move GDX stuff in the days before the big event, let us know! - Front of House: Help check folks in at the conference, make sure speakers know where to go. - Tech Support: ensure that speakers who need assistance setting up their computers etc are provided with support. - Photos/Video Coverage: snap photos and videos throughout the day. - Social Media: share announcements and content throughout the time leading up to the conference and during the event itself. - Design: update graphics and make your mark on the event. This position is for a general pool and afterwards we will reach out with specific role assignments. PERKS: You'll receive at least one full day of attendance at the conference free of charge, lunch is provided, a snazzy looking volunteer shirt, and access to speakers.
