Info Technology
Our mission is to help the older population who want to learn, how to use technology. In our ever-increasing globalizing world, we have become more and more dependent on our reliance of technology for our everyday needs. From staying in touch with family or friends, e-mailing our employer, paying our bills to online shopping, ordering SkipTheDishes, and navigation. Technology has certainly become important in the 21st century, and it has helped our lives become more efficient. It has become a requirement for many people to learn how to use technology in many work environments in the 21st century. Our goal is to reduce the disconnect people 40+ may have to technological barriers. Through volunteering with us, we will teach those who want to learn, how to use a computer, smartphones and to navigate through social media. We want to make a difference in the lives of people who want to use technology, but are unsure where to begin.
Our mission is help people become more connected. Volunteering with us will help you build a friendship or mentor-mentee (ship) with someone from a different generation.
