Grant Application & Writing Assistant — Hope Lives Here

Hope Lives Here Animal Rescue Society is looking for two volunteer grant-writing assistants to help us prepare clear, accurate funding applications that support our dog and cat rescue work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Review assigned grant opportunities and their deadlines, eligibility rules and application questions.
- Draft narratives, program descriptions and other application responses using VERIFIED HLH information.
- Help prepare supporting material and identify missing information or approvals.
- When specifically authorized, enter approved content into a grant portal as a DRAFT.
- Submit all drafts for HLH coordinator review. Volunteers never make organizational commitments or submit applications without approval.

GOOD FIT
Strong writing, research, proofreading and attention to detail. Comfortable following funder instructions, checking facts and meeting deadlines. Grant experience is helpful but not essential if you are thorough and willing to learn. Coordinator approval is required before access or assignment.

WHERE / WHEN
Remote, project-based and flexible. Work is assigned from HLH's current grant pipeline; the time commitment varies by deadline and application.
